Chapter 2: All Alone | Seven Years into Marriage, I Cheated

Chapter 2: All Alone

The airport bustled with people, and a tall man with a graceful figure attracted numerous gazes as soon as he appeared. His face was perfectly rugged, devoid of a smile, and his thin lips carried a hint of coolness. He looked down at the watch on his wrist.

When the man answered the phone, his entire demeanor softened, and an aura of tenderness enveloped him. People could see the affection in his eyes.

Lu Siyao hung up the phone and rubbed his temples wearily. He got into the car, and a strong fragrance enveloped the air. A young man, with a soft body, leaned into Lu Siyao’s arms, kissing him on the neck.

Lu Siyao didn’t move, lowering his gaze to the trembling eyelashes of the young man.

“Mr. Lu!” The young man’s voice was soft, and his hands were not idle. Lu Siyao caught his wandering hand, and he leaned down, kissing the young man’s lips, a sensual expression dominating his face.

The car arrived at a villa and came to a stop. Lu Siyao released the young man.

“Jiting, don’t use such strong perfume next time.”

Jiting snapped out of his trance, watching the man enter the house. Soon after, the man changed his clothes, leaving without a glance back.

The secretary, who had been silent in the co-driver’s seat, was quick to act. After Lu Siyao changed, a different car was already waiting at the door.

Jiting, unwilling, hurriedly approached.

“Mr. Lu, when will you come again?”

The man glanced back, his eyes clear and cold, as if seeing through all his thoughts.

“I’ll contact you when the time comes.”

Jiting sighed in relief, smiling as he bid farewell to Lu Siyao. The contact meant the continuation.

Lu Siyao was too sensitive. He had only slightly intensified the scent of his perfume, and it was noticed. Just to prevent the one at home from finding out.

Jiting pouted. Was it interesting? Sooner or later, they would divorce. The excitement he provided was not something a country bumpkin could compare to. Besides, with Mrs. Lu’s foolish appearance, she would eventually exhaust Mr. Lu’s last bit of loyalty.

Lu Siyao got into the car, listening to the secretary Chen An’s schedule.

“Sir, the gifts from the M country for Madam, do you plan to return them today, or wait until Madam’s birthday next week?”

“Today.” Lu Siyao’s lips curled slightly when he mentioned Gu Shisheng.

“Oh, by the way, the prescription from Dr. John has been promptly filled. Madam will be very happy.”

“Good.” Lu Siyao supported his head. “He, his health is not good, and he insists on pushing himself. This year, the cold weather has been particularly long, causing him a lot of suffering.”

Chen An didn’t doubt Mr. Lu’s affection for Madam. Playthings were playthings, and Madam was Madam. As long as Madam didn’t know, everything would be calm. After ten years of love and seven years of marriage, could Madam let go?

In this world, men were all the same at this level. Moreover, those people, who could compare to Mr. Lu?

At this position, besides those who came forward one after another, there were various styles chasing from behind.

Mr. Lu still loved Madam the most.

Lu Siyao returned home to the beautiful scenery of the semi-mountainous area of Qinghe. Beyond the mountains was the lake he had specially built for Gu Shisheng a few years ago.

Inside the villa, Gu Shisheng had just returned, changed his clothes, and saw Lu Siyao putting things away. The man took off his coat, the ink-colored suit wrapping around his strong chest and abdominal muscles. He rolled up his sleeves, approached Gu Shisheng, and embraced him.

“Wife, I miss you so much.”

Gu Shisheng raised his eyebrows, his voice soft. “Didn’t we just not see each other for two days?”

“No, next time, I’ll take you with me. We’ll go together.” Lu Siyao was different in front of Gu Shisheng, like a child who loved to act spoiled.

“No, if your company’s directors see it, they’ll say I’m causing harm to the country and the people again.” Gu Shisheng smiled, pushing the man away. His eyes fell on a long scar on the man’s arm.

Gu Shisheng remembered; it was the knife that Lu Siyao had blocked for him that year. That day, Lu Siyao almost didn’t make it back.

Lu Siyao placed his arm behind him, covering Gu Shisheng’s eyes.

“Don’t look. It’s been so many years; it’s healed. Every time you see it, you get sad. Next time, I’ll go for a cosmetic procedure and cover the scar for you. Save you from being sad every time you see it.”

Gu Shisheng remained silent for a moment.

“Okay, next time, I’ll take you.”

After all these years, the pain and ache of the scar had healed, but he would remember it whenever he saw it.
